Paper Brightness: Term referring to the paper brilliance. The brighter the paper, the whiter it appears. The brightness of the paper will affect the way colours are reflected. Colours printed on paper that is not very bright will seem darker. As a general rule, the brighter the paper, the more vibrant the colours will appear. On bright paper, however, light colours can appear washed out.
